What days are available for evening hire?

We currently offer evening venue hire Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

What time can we hire the venue?

Evening hire runs from 5:00pm until midnight.

A typical timeline looks like this:

5:00pm – Venue access & set up
7:00pm – Guests arrive
11:30pm – Last orders & final song
12:00am – Carriages

Of course, you're welcome to adjust the timings to suit your celebration.

Do you offer parking?

Yes! We provide free on-site parking for all your guests from 5:00pm.

Guests are welcome to leave their vehicles overnight and collect them by 11:00am the following day (excluding Sunday evenings).

Where is the venue?

You'll find us at the beautiful Dovecote Eatery, nestled within the stunning Cams Estate, Fareham, PO16 8UT.

Do you offer catering?

We offer a selection of light buffet options prepared by the Dovecote Eatery. If you're looking for something more substantial, you're more than welcome to bring in your own caterers or food vendors. They can conveniently set up just outside the archway in our car park.

We simply ask that they have:

Public Liability Insurance
A good current Food Hygiene Rating

We can also provide power for your food vendors if required.

Can we play our own music?

Absolutely! We provide background music via Spotify, but this will be fairly quiet so if you'd like a bigger party atmosphere, you're welcome to hire your own professional DJ. We can provide power for their equipment.

Will someone help organise our event?

Our team will be on site while you're setting up and we're always happy to lend a hand where we can.

Our venue is designed as a DIY celebration space, giving you the freedom to create your event exactly how you imagine it. Whether you're decorating tables, welcoming your caterers, setting up a photo booth or your DJ is getting ready, you'll be in control of the day while we're here to support you behind the scenes.

Do you offer welcome drinks?

Yes! We can provide welcome drinks for your guests at an additional cost. Popular choices include chilled Prosecco, lager and other arrival drinks served on ice as your guests arrive.

Can we rearrange the tables?

We'd prefer the tables to remain in their arranged layout, as it's been carefully designed to provide plenty of space for your guests to dine, socialise and move around comfortably.

What if we need extra time to set up?

No problem. Additional set-up time can be arranged for more elaborate events and decorations, subject to availability and an additional charge.

Can we decorate the venue?

Absolutely—we encourage it! We want you to make the space your own and create a celebration that's uniquely yours.
